We're Having A BABY!!!!!
There was this feeling, I just wasn't really feeling like "myself". I had walked downstairs to Maceo's office where he was doing some homework. He had a sign that said "Hello Beautiful happy 260 days of being married." I told him I was extra tender, and the exact words of "I think we're pregnant" came out of my mouth. I said I was going to pick up a test later that day after work, I took the test the next morning-Negative. I wasn't really sure this test was right...I had this "gut" feeling that I was pregnant. We waited a couple of days then on September 3, 2012 purchased another test. Again, we decided to wait to take it in the morning.
It was a VERY early morning on September 4, 2012 ,for me anyways...I don't normally wake up at 6:30 am....I ENJOY MY SLEEP!!!! I took the test and set it on the counter. Maceo asked me what it said, I told him I couldn't see it!! (Just and FYI: I am practically blind with out my contacts or glasses....and apparently too tired to walk 10 feet to get my glasses). I said he was going to have to get up and look at the test. Maceo was such a good husband getting out of bed, looking at the test that he had NO idea how to read. "There are 2 lines" he said to me. I looked at him with tears in my eyes. "What does that mean?" he asked. Me crying at this point, "You're going to be a daddy!" We were ecstatic!! The pictures of my growing belly from then on appear every Tuesday as you will see......
(Please note we are not professional photographers-nor do we claim to be)

SERIOUSLY BUDDY I KNOW WHAT I ORDERED...AND YOU CAN BET I AM WRITING YOUR UPPER MANAGEMENT ON HOW YOU ARE TREATING YOUR CUSTOMERS.....
This is also how Jody learned she was going to be a Grandma-they were trying to schedule a time of delivery after much back and forth disagreements....I said I couldn't miss anymore work than I will be. Week of October 23-October 29
How Far Along Are You: 11 weeks
Total Weight Gain/Loss: None
Maternity Clothes: I broke down and purchased a be band from Target--It is like a tube top that you put over the top of your pants if you are having trouble buttoning but the pants still fit fine--It is hopefully my reason to not purchase maternity pants (fingers crossed). I wish I would have purchased this earlier (meaning years ago-IT IS GREAT)
Stretch Marks: No
Sleep: Always ready for a nap
Best Moment This week: We found a crib BRAND NEW and paid half the price of what we were expecting-Maceo also Primed the "joker room" so that the purple and green walls no longer show-We just couldn't believe someone would paint a bedroom those colors I can see a business but a bedroom seriously?!?! As you will see in the pictures to follow:

What were the previous owners thinking having "joker" colored walls? Maceo wanted a picture of the pregnant lady with the crib as we (mostly he was assembling it).
Charlie the current baby, has no idea what is in store for him.....
I had told Maceo if my picture was being taken so was his...
The happy parents now have a place for their child to sleep...now to finish the rest of the room
Maceo wanted to get a picture of us and our purchases for the day. Here is the first outfit we purchased because it can be worn by a boy or a girl-GO BEARS!!
SUPER DAD!!!
Finished Product now all we need is the mattress, protective pad and sheets....and a few other things..
Finished Product now all we need is the mattress, protective pad and sheets....and a few other things..
Miss Anything: The ability to pre-pack my lunch for work, this going out to eat everyday that I am working is EXPENSIVE!!!
Movement: No
Food Cravings: Bacon and Fries
Anything Making You Queasy or Sick: I just feel queasy if I haven't eaten enough, or if I have eaten too much, or even if I just am not eating as often as I should
Have You Started to Show: No
Gender: No
Labor Signs: No
Symptoms: Sleepy, crazy dreams and some queasiness
Bellybutton In/Out: In
Wedding Rings On/Off: On
Happy or Moody Most of the Time: Happy almost all of the time, minus one night when Maceo woke me up 3 times. 1) To clean out the side of the sink so he could clean the rollers he was using to prime the "joker walls" 2) To take a picture of him in his Bears jersey for something and 3) To tell me I forgot to put the garage door down
The walls primed white GOODBYE "Joker" walls
Looking Forward To: Seeing Baby A in the ultrasound that we have set for November 1st.
Anything Else: I can't think of anything else right now-probably due to the pregnant brain
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Week of October 30-November 5
How Far Along Are You: 12 weeks
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gain 1 pound ( back to my pre-pregnancy weight)
Maternity Clothes: This week I just wore regular clothes
Stretch Marks: No
Sleep: Even with daylight savings I have been SO tired. I would love to take a nap...even right now would be great!!!
Best Moment This week: We saw BABY A!!!! We have some pictures and a 2 minute and 14 second DVD from the 45 minute ultrasound. Baby A did so well!!! We were doing some genetic testing where they measure the space a the back of the baby's neck. The number needs to be under 30. Baby was measuring at 10 and 11, right at where it needed to be!!! We were so happy-Still are!
Miss Anything: Wine, We drove to tell all of the Greats they are Greats. And Great Grandma and Grandpa had wine when we showed up--I just carried the glass around but couldn't drink--IF I denied the glass they would have known, so I just carried it around--Plus Baby isn't old enough yet....Still has a few years to go.... ;) like 21 years or so.
Movement: No
Food Cravings: Candy!!!!!!!!! Completely out of the norm for me. I don't have much of a sweet tooth--It could be that Halloween was just here and we had some candy left--But all I have wanted has been Reece's Pieces
Anything Making You Queasy or Sick: Mostly I feel queasy when I go down stairs to do the laundry-Maceo had moved the litter boxes down to the basement living room so they weren't around me. Although Maceo doesn't approve of his new duties of cleaning the litter boxes he still does it because he knows it is the best for myself and the baby......So sometimes they don't get done as often as they should-So the smell makes me feel queasy. I bought 3 air fresheners to hopefully help (or at least cover the smell for me)
Have You Started to Show: NO! I saw this cartoon bu Cathy Thorne and laughed!!! Pretty much all of her cartoons are funny.....but this was especially hitting close to home ;)
Gender: No....We are able to find out 2 days after Christmas!!!!!! We can't wait! We were hoping for sooner...on the plus side there's always after Christmas Sales :)
Labor Signs: No
Symptoms: Being tired of course!
Bellybutton In/Out: In
Wedding Rings On/Off: On
Happy or Moody Most of the Time: Happy!! I am excited as well as is Maceo to show Baby A's pictures and DVD to family and friends... Baby A is FAMOUS!!!! I also told Maceo that Baby A is the only person who knows how my heart beats from the inside...and that our babies will be the only ones who know how much I love them from inside and out of my womb.
Looking Forward To: Actually showing!!!!! I don't know why but I want to have that really PREGNANT BELLY!!!!! I may regret saying that, but for right now that is what I want...I would LOVE that "baby bump"
Anything Else: All 3 sets of Great Grandparents know! 2 out of the 3 sets will be first timers too! We shared Baby A's heart beat and had a photo album of the ultrasound to share. We just told them we had pictures to show them. They thought they were photos from our reception--But were extremely excited when they figured out it was a Baby!!!!
How Far Along Are You: 13 weeks
Total Weight Gain/Loss: None, I think my weight is just shifting around. My pants are fitting more than before (not uncomfortable) just I guess I am re-fitting into them...They were the pants that were snug at the beginning of the year, so I changed how I ate and lost 30 pounds....but I haven't gained anything.
Maternity Clothes: I have been enjoying my be band I purchased from Target. I almost purchased a white and nude one when I saw them at Me and Mommy to Be, but decided that I normally wear darker clothing and I didn't want it to be sticking out like a sore thumb.
Stretch Marks: No
Sleep: I am getting tired later than usual and having CRAZY DREAMS and I wake a lot to change positions...
Best Moment This week: After a long day at work Maceo called 10 minutes before we closed to see when and if I was ready to come home-I said YES!!! Then I asked what he wanted for supper. He said for me not to worry about that. All he wanted me to do was come home and relax...then he gave me a foot rub. YES! THAT THERE IS THE WONDERFUL MAN I MARRIED!!!
Maternity Clothes: Still do not technically need them BUT looks as though we are in the beginning of a small small belly
Stretch Marks: No
Sleep: many many crazy dreams-I would love to have normal dreams again. 4-6 dreams a night and one could/does get interrupted because I have to PEE!!!
Best Moment This week: Maceo surprised me by having the nursery painted the color that I wanted it to be colored...porcelain skin. I was instantly in tears when he walked me into the room!
AWE sooooo much better!!!
Miss Anything: Being able to go to the grocery store with out feeling queasy.
Movement: No....should be feeling something soon though with in the next few weeks!!!
Food Cravings: Healthy Foods
Anything Making You Queasy or Sick: Apparently I waited too long before I ate breakfast one day this week...We were trying to get some groceries from Dahls for Thanksgiving. We made it almost all the way through the store and only had 2 more items left to get. We still needed mayo and bacon for a broccoli salad I was making to take to the Anderson Thanksgiving. For whatever reason the thought of mayo just made me sick. Thank god I always have bags in my handbag for if Charlie would poop where ever I can pick up the poop and throw it away. The bags are no longer dog poop bags but Mommy puke bags! Since we don't really know the layout of the store I was puking all the way through until we found the bathroom. We decided we would try Dahls kitchen for some burgers. Then finished our shopping. THEN 2 days later we needed to get some food for us to eat because all we had at home was nothing we wanted to eat. I was fine all the way through the HyVee store. When we got to the car and Maceo started to drive home I was scrambling for my puke bag....and puked the whole way home :(
Week of November 27-December 3
How Far Along Are You: 16 weeks
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Nothing, I am eating and eating and eating and I continue to weigh myself almost psychotically--But no budge. Apparently I am supposed to gain 10-12 pounds this trimester. Probably will in the upcoming weeks and I should be thankful I haven't just packed on the pounds.
Maternity Clothes: Still do not really need them-I still fit into my normal clothes, again I should be thankful I haven't had to purchase a whole new wardrobe.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Week of January 22-January 28
How Far Along Are You: 24 weeks
Total Weight Gain/Loss: FINALLY I can say I gained some weight!!! I have gained 5 pounds. I am not sure the doctors or nurses have seen someone so happy to have gained weight in their lives....I always have been eating A LOT of food....I was wondering when I was going to be able to "pack on the baby pounds"
Maternity Clothes: I am still able to wear quite a few of my "pre-pregnancy" clothes--I did purchase another Be Band from Target--I LOVE THEM!!!! My pants fit fine until you get to the buttoning part....I can button it but then I start to dry heave because it is pressing wrong for our baby girl. That and I did drop 30 pounds before becoming pregnant so I guess you could say many of my clothes I am re-fitting in again...
Stretch Marks: None--I had to get some more lotion-I go through it so quickly now....not that I didn't before but I am using much more than I used too--I love the smell of cocoa butter (only at night) otherwise I like fragrance free (mornings or afternoons)--
Sleep: I am sleeping ok, when Little Girl starts to kick I am AWAKE and wishing I could sleep through it, but I guess I should be thankful she just wants her mommy to know she is there! I also switch sides throughout the night (which means the pillow I have shoved under my stomach goes with me)
Best Moment This week: Maceo finished the armiore for the nursery!! It looks AWESOME!!!
Bit by bit the room is coming together....
I started and finished crocheting a baby blanket for our daughter...
The blanket I made is draped over the crib
AND it was so nice of Jody to come with me to my Glucose test because Maceo had class (It wasn't as bad as everyone kept telling me...I had the red juice tasted like Hawaiian fruit punch with about a cup of sugar added to it...The only part that I didn't like was my first swallow for whatever reason it went down the wrong tube)--BUT I LOVED LOVED LOVED Jody's face when she was able to hear her Grand daughters heart beat from the Doppler first hand verses hearing it through a text message.
Miss Anything: Not really, can't think of anything that I wish I can have but can't
Movement: Yes,
Food Cravings: Snickers bars-regular or ice cream....I want!!! And Cheerios with honey. And Plain White Chocolate Wonderful Peanut Butter Sandwiches!!!
Anything Making You Queasy or Sick: No I am feeling Great!!!
Have You Started to Show: YES!!
Gender: Still a Girl!!
Labor Signs: No
Symptoms: I tire more easily--still pee a lot, Love to feel Baby Girl kicking and dancing in my belly
Bellybutton In/Out: In
Wedding Rings On/Off: On
Happy or Moody Most of the Time: Happy--I do have some outbursts of moody....for example when I was trying to figure out much of this blog Maceo was trying to talk to me about whatever was on the news and Charlie was trying to be helpful but I snapped a little saying "SERIOUSLY" Sorry Boys!!! Mama didn't mean it!!
Looking Forward To: Each day becoming closer and closer to meeting our little girl
Anything Else: I decided to finally start our Blog-To let the family members and friends follow our family story!! I have developed a little bit of a sweet tooth (not that I had much to begin with, but snickers bars and ice cream snickers bars seem to do the trick). Oh, and I am trying some new nail polish that we purchased called "Piggy Paint" I am really rough on my nails so whenever I paint my nails they chip quickly. These did alright and didn't chip off but the one thing that did take it off was tape...odd. But it is supposed to be more natural and not have the chemicals that the other nail polishes have because I am not supposed to use them while pregnant. Plus our little girl will be able to wear it too!!!

Week of January 29-February 4
How Far Along Are You: 25 weeks
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Have not budged the scale since the doctor's appointment
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Have not budged the scale since the doctor's appointment
Maternity Clothes: Oh goodness, I am still able to wear many of my regular pants with the assistance of the Be Band. I did have to get some larger underwear and bras....It was a sad day. But the feeling of more comfortable is GREAT. Plus, I always hate panty lines.
Stretch Marks: No
Sleep: Not much this week, between just being uncomfortable and I have been concerned with Charlie--
Stretch Marks: No
Sleep: Not much this week, between just being uncomfortable and I have been concerned with Charlie--
I literally am cradled between pillows from ALL SIDES. I have obviously the one I sleep on (which by the way is a water pillow Maceo purchased for me THE BEST THING EVER!!!!!!! I don't know if I could go back to a normal pillow again, this has been my go too for the last year). I then have 2 that cradle the sides-One that is shoved under my belly and one that goes against my back (that way if I roll I don't have to take the pillow with me it's already there). Last and final I have 1 sometimes 2 between my legs. With all of these pillows I am more comfortable.
As for Charlie---It appears he is allergic to something, I was watching him for a couple of days-Seemed to just be itchy. Sunday the 3rd, he was getting hot and red and itchy and it was time to go to the vet. I was up until 1:30am that evening because I was HUNGRY!!! Made myself and Maceo who is eager to eat ;) something to eat. After fulfilling my craving I was able to fall alseep-ALMOST as soon as my head hit the pillow. But that was short lived. 4:00am Charlie was up in my face (meaning it was time to go outside to potty). So I maneuvered my way out of bed and let him outside. He was out for a while, came in and I needed to clean him up a little from the snow. After I had wiped him and said lets go back to bed buddy-I was rubbing his tummy and it was HOT! So I picked him up and noticed it was red again. That was it, we were going to go to the vet. I grabbed a bag of peas I had in the freezer and a towel and had him lay on it-to cool him a little. I was able to relax and calm him enough he was falling asleep. I was able to catch a little shut eye from then until about 6:00 am he was still sleeping but I was still worried. 8:00am rolled around I woke Maceo up and said come on we are going to the vet. He started the truck and shortly after were leaving for the vet. Ankeny has an amazing vet clinic (Creature Comforts http://www.ccvhankeny.com/ ) that is open 7 days a week from 8:00am to 8:00pm. We were welcomed and were able to get into a room much faster than I thought we would. The tech came in and got a feel of what was going on-shortly after the Doctor (Sue Shivers, DVM) came in checked Charlie out and sure enough it seemed to be an allergy, but unsure of exactly what the culprit was. We were given some medication to help with the allergies and itchiness. They were AMAZING-and sure enough a couple of hours later Charlie's coloring was back to normal and the itchiness was barely there.
Best Moment This week: I was able to spend an extra day with Maceo on Wednesday (due to weather issues my boss texted me and said not to bother trying to make it to work we were going to be closed). Maceo and I enjoyed the time together and I enjoyed getting a little more cleaning done. Sunday when I couldn't fall back asleep after the vet I made Maceo some strawberry Champagne Cupcakes. I am just so thankful that Charlie is feeling more like himself again.
Miss Anything: I was sad that I couldn't taste the cupcakes (I'm sure it would be fine, but why risk it)
Movement: Yes, lots of kicks, jabs, and movements
Food Cravings: Back to wanting pasta but only really late at night. Otherwise it doesn't matter I can eat whatever.
Anything Making You Queasy or Sick: No, I feel pretty good :)
Have You Started to Show: Yes-more and more each day and my clothes are beginning to show the effects. Pants I really need the Be Belly-I can not zip let alone button most of them. But they still fit and are comfy. I do have the lovely "baby bump".
Gender: Girl
Labor Signs: NO
Symptoms: Tired (not all the time, but when it hits I am TIRED), Uncomfortableness with sleeping, Having to pee constantly, and Baby Girl's acrobatics.
Bellybutton In/Out: In, Maceo commented as I was putting lotion on my belly one night that my belly button is less indented and that I may soon have an outty again....
Wedding Rings On/Off: On
Happy or Moody Most of the Time: Happy, even with lack of sleep -- can't bring me down.

Happy or Moody Most of the Time: Happy, even with lack of sleep -- can't bring me down.
Looking Forward To: I guess you could say we are excited to get our taxes done on the 4th. This mama needs to get a different vehicle to drive to work that doesn't cost as much- and we would love to pay off the Truck which is my current vehicle.
Anything Else: We found a rug that would do for the nursery that was a little less expensive than the rose shaped one that I loved from Pier 1 (Just couldn't justify spending $700 on a rug). ;) More pictures to come...
Week of February 5-February 11
How Far Along Are You: 26 Weeks
Total Weight Gain/Loss: I feel as though the scale should be changing for me.....I feel like my stomach is growing....but "unfortunately" the scale isn't budging too much if at all.
Maternity Clothes: Yes, On a daily basis I am always wearing my Be Band, and have OFFICIALLY made it to the point where my "fat" pants no longer button (they were the only ones that were still able to button comfortably without reallying needing my Be Band-but I wore it anyways). But I am not giving up hope, I can still wear ALL of my pants with the help of the Be Band :) I have "retired" some of the regular bras, but I think if I purchased the extenders I could still use them....maybe....I also have many of my regular shirts that I can still wear....I broke into the "I finally shrunk out of these clothes, I will keep them because they are nice" clothes from after I had lost a good amount of weight last year. But I do have my maternity shirts that are my consistent go-to's.
Stretch Marks: No, but I do always ALWAYS lotion morning and evening.
Sleep: I feel as though I am getting pretty decent sleep....but Maceo tells me I switch my sides constantly as if I am tossing and turning....I don't notice a thing!
Best Moment This week: Charlie's feeling 100%+ better than last week. We signed up for some classes, the Tour of the Birthways, Breastfeeding, and the Expectant Parents Class. We are excited to see what things are to come of the classes. One is set up for this month, and 2 are set up for March.
Oh, and Saturday of this week which would have been 2-9-13 the last 15 minutes of work was AWESOME!! A Girl Scout came in selling what else....COOKIES!!!! Pregnant and Girl Scout Cookies....OH, MAN....I didn't go too over board like I thought I was going too. But I hadn't talked to Maceo about it either, but I knew if I was bringing home sweets he wouldn't care. I bought 5, yes 5 boxes of cookies!! I did contemplate only telling Maceo I bought 2....just so I could have a "fair" chance at getting some cookies ;) I love my sugar tooth husband!! I just carried in the big box that had all of the boxes in. HE WAS HAPPY!!! I did end up telling him that I was only going to tell him I purchased 2-He laughed and said he wouldn't have blamed me.
Miss Anything: Not really, I did although wish for a glass of wine every-so-often.....I have a feeling this up-and-coming Thursday will be one of those days (Valentine's Day).
Movement: Even though counting kicks technically starts in 2 weeks I have started to get myself into the habit. So far our little girl is a go-getter!! She moves 10 times within 10 minutes....For counting kicks you have to feel your baby move, kick, flutter, jab, etc. 10 times and you have 2 hours to feel. I am thankful I don't have to sit that long. But I am sure there will be times that it takes longer than others....But getting into the habit early especially since she is a mover and a shaker :)
Food Cravings: Pasta, Tacos, Potato oles, and The occasional Pepsi
Anything Making You Queasy or Sick: one night all I wanted was a caramel apple...We had apples and I had chocolate discs that you can make candy with. So I melted the chocolate and used it to dip in. IT WAS AMAZING!!!! Although, it didn't agree with me. I am guessing it was just one of those things that maybe I ate too much...
Have You Started to Show: Yes!!! Seems like we are growing each day.
Gender: Girl, pretty sure that hasn't changed ;)
Labor Signs: No
Symptoms: I tire easily, I have a mover and a shaker Rock'n out at all times of the day, I am thirsty, I have a constantly growing tummy-And of course I am always having to pee...
Bellybutton In/Out: We still have a bellybutton that is IN!!!
Wedding Rings On/Off: We have officially hit the point where one out of my two rings are just a little tight. Maceo said to just not wear my engagement ring (the tight one), we will get it cleaned, checked and put it in the safe. It was a sad, sad, sad day.... Both of the rings are the same size but how they hit on my finger.
Happy or Moody Most of the Time: Happy!! I am feeling more and more like myself...IT IS GREAT!!!
Looking Forward To: We have a normal check up for Baby at the end of this month and the Birthways tour.
Anything Else: I went to cash my check on the 5th. The woman at the counter looked at me, smiled a big smile and said "you can definitely tell you have a baby in your belly now!!" Made my day!!
Oh and we still have the Baby Pool Going!!! It will be on until April 1st. Make sure you put in your vote.
It has been SO FUN to see what people think!! Put in your Vote TODAY!!! And best part is.....YOU CAN VOTE AS MANY TIMES AS YOU WANT!!!! The more the merrier!!!
Anything Else: We found a rug that would do for the nursery that was a little less expensive than the rose shaped one that I loved from Pier 1 (Just couldn't justify spending $700 on a rug). ;) More pictures to come...

Also, Maceo has found the great reason for taking his wife shopping. I love getting great deals on things (especially the items that the necessities). We went to CVS pharmacy a couple of days after their grand opening. Walked out with just over $60 worth of products and only paid $13.15!!! Then over the weekend we saw that my laundry detergent and some of Maceo's deodorant were on sale at Walgreens, so we stopped walked out with $40 worth of products and only paid $14.08. I know doesn't seem like the extreme couponers that are on tv, but every little bit helps. I did tell Maceo after we stopped at Walgreens that we did need to stop at Baby R Us because I had a coupon for 2 for $3 baby wipes as well as a $5 off coupon. So we picked up 3 baby wipes AND ONLY SPENT $0.40!!!!!!!!!! I was very happy with my bargains this week! I hope to keep this up. And I will say I don't mind spending regular price if I have to---BUT I LOVE TO SAVE!!!!!! Gives us a little nicer way of justifying having a nice date night together.
Week of February 12-February 18
How Far Along Are You: 27 weeks
Total Weight Gain/Loss: The scale might be budging a little but it changes daily and somedays it is nothing and some days it is a pound or two...nothing has really set itself in stone yet.
Maternity Clothes: Yes, I am still wearing my normal pants with my Be Band-But we are wearing more maternity shirts (along with some of my "fat" shirts) I did wear a regular shirt that I have worn for the last 3 or 4 Valentine's Days to work. It still worked. Should have taken a picture but after a day at work on that day....yeah, I was just a little too tired to do a whole lot after making supper. Also, purchased some more lovely underwear and bras as well as a couple of nursing camis SOOOO COMFORTABLE
Stretch Marks: No, gotta love a lotioned belly!!
Sleep: I am tired easily, but when I try to go to bed-for whatever reason I am not falling asleep easily. I don't think I wake as easily UNLESS I have to pee. I have had some crazy dreams, but it could be that crazy is the new normal and I am just not paying as much attention to them.
Best Moment This week: We found some different sized hoop/rings so I can make our daughter's "mobile" I don't care for the ones that attach to the crib and more-or-less it is something just for decoration in the room because she won't be able to see it for a while. But the ones that we were finding when we were looking were not the colors that I wanted in the room, and definitely not a price I wanted to pay. Yeah, not going to pay $200 for these paper cutouts that are hanging from fishline.....So I found some hearts to use (yeah, for Valentine's Day), and found the hoop/rings. I have covered the hoop/rings with muslin because it softens the appearance-and that's as far as I have gotten.
Miss Anything: This week, WINE!!! or Long Islands.......but mostly WINE!! Would have been nice to have with the Valentine's Meal I made after work for Maceo and I.
Movement: Yes, there were a couple of days I wasn't paying much attention because I was moving myself like crazy and busy...but she is still moving like crazy. I usually feel her move 10 times within 5-10 minutes.
Food Cravings: Pasta, Salads with fried chicken, taco salads,
Anything Making You Queasy or Sick: No I have been feeling pretty good.
Have You Started to Show: Yes!!! It is exciting, but it is funny when people are like "you are pregnant?" probably because when I am at work I have a jacket on and you might not be able to see as easily. But we are continuing to grow!!
Gender: Still a girl!!
Labor Signs: No
Symptoms: Things are starting not to fit as well as they did, I tire easily, we have a belly, and we pee a lot still :)
Bellybutton In/Out: In
Wedding Rings On/Off: Engagement is off and on depending I think my fingers might have just been a little swollen because I was hot last week. It is more towards the tight end, but I can still wear it. Although, I do not wear it to work just in case my fingers were to swell--I don't want to have to figure out where to put my ring if it starts to bother me. (Although I could probably wear it...it is beginning to be tight and uncomfortable after you are wearing it for long periods of time) Wedding band still on and rolling, it has plenty of room for some growth I guess.
Happy or Moody Most of the Time: Happy, I am purely excited and happy. There are those days when I am at work and it's edging closer to close and someone says they want help but they don't know what they are looking for so I am trying to help and they are saying that isn't it, no, not that....that sometimes I am noticing a little less happy mood is falling upon me...but work my way thru it and then when we find something it makes me happy again. My patience is being tested, but I still win!!
Looking Forward To: Our upcoming appointment Thursday, even though it is just a normal appointment. And the next week after we have a Birthways Tour of the hospital.
Anything Else: HAPPY VALENTINE'S WEEK!!! Even Baby A received presents from Grandma Jody and Grandpa Dean!! She now has a cute crib sheet for her bed as well as some cute sleepers for when she is about 6 months!! ADORABLE!!! Maceo and I also decorated Baby A's room (note: the balloons will not be around when she is with us--And Dominique won't be sleeping on the changing pad--It was just too cute not to take her picture sleeping there)
Total Weight Gain/Loss: The scale might be budging a little but it changes daily and somedays it is nothing and some days it is a pound or two...nothing has really set itself in stone yet.

Week of February 19-February 25
How Far Along Are You: 28 Weeks
Total Weight Gain/Loss: 6 more pounds!! I would like to thank Hardees 2/3 bacon monster burger, and ice cream snickers to at least one day of adding some pounds ;) I have wanted TACOS too, but I only want the tacos from taco loco-and the day we tried they were closed (I tried for Michaels in Omaha-It would only take 2 1/2 hours to get there, but I couldn't sweet talk my way into getting Maceo to drive for them) so we ate at A&W my husband really knows what I want if I can't have my cravings Chili Cheese Fries!!!
Maternity Clothes: I am still wearing my regular pants with the help of the Be Band. I have maternity shirts, I did try to wear one shirt that was regular this week, but it was a smidge short...looked a little silly. But definitely wearing my maternity shirts on a regular basis
Stretch Marks: No! :) I love my lotion, Maceo does too because he likes the smell.
Sleep: I love sleep!!! At least while I can..... Maceo says I still toss and turn but I don't notice at all.
Best Moment This week: Customers at the store keep telling me I am glowing. It was a nice way to start out the week. ALMOST EVERYDAY I have heard this from the customers.
Miss Anything: I would love to just be able to eat a cold meat sandwich--I would like to have a Turkey on Wheat with mayo, pepper jack cheese, alfalfa sprouts, tomatoes, bacon (possibly some jalapenos) YUM!!! I miss just being able to make my lunches (this easy).
Movement: Baby Girl is continually moving......I am not sure she sleeps at all.....ok, well she does, but she sure likes to have dance parties-but it is funny when Maceo goes to feel her move-it is like she knows he wants to fee....l and she stops. It's an amusing game for me to watch
Food Cravings: Ice cream Snickers Bars, Bacon, Bagels, Pepsi (I eat healthy otherwise, but these are the things I really want!!!!!!)
Anything Making You Queasy or Sick: No, I feel great!! Besides a lovely little head cold I developed that I am just getting over. I guess we all have to get knocked down every once in a while I was just happy to have found my paper that let me know what I could take, because I was pretty miserable the first couple of days (as you can see in the picture above--that was my most major stuffy day).
Have You Started to Show: No not at all.....HA HA just kidding yes I have a belly and when I look down I can't see my feet!! I giggle at that. But it's not huge by any means I still have a few weeks to go to get to that point.
Gender: Still a girl
Labor Signs: No labor signs and we would like to keep it that way for at least 8-11 weeks ;) We would really like to be full term... Although, if baby girl wants to stay in a little longer we may have to have a serious talk with her.....but we are wrapped around her finger right now so she might win.
Symptoms: I have some cravings, I am thirsty, I have to pee (A LOT), There is a person who moves and shakes, kicks and punches in my belly, THERE IS A BELLY!!
Bellybutton In/Out: We are still in "turkey's not done!!"
Wedding Rings On/Off: Wedding band still on, engagement ring mostly still off--but we decided to take it to Jareds where Maceo purchased it had a "6 month inspection" and get it cleaned. We took my ring box so we could put it in the box as soon as it was done to place in a safe spot while I am not wearing it.
Happy or Moody Most of the Time: Happy--Maceo was saying he is happy with me being happy almost all of the time. Instead of being cranky or crying all the time. Although I think he does enjoy having me watch sad movies with him and of course I cry during it then he says he can't believe I am crying.
Looking Forward To: Having our Birthways tour at the hospital
Anything Else: I can't think of anything right now.....

Week of February 26-March 4
How Far Along Are You: 29 Weeks
Total Weight Gain/Loss: I don't know if anything has moved too much this week.
Maternity Clothes: Same as has been, I have the shirts and be band I can still wear my pants--(I did buy a skirt that weather I am pregnant or not I can wear it...sooo comfy)
Stretch Marks: Nope, I love my lotion- BUT you can really see the veins in my belly and all parts of my body more. It is neat and freaky all at the same time!
Sleep: YES PLEASE!!! I really wish I could have a nap everyday, because I can still sleep easily at night. We have crazy dreams. I am still sleeping with pillows between Maceo and I so I can stay laying down on my left side. I miss cuddling up right next to him with out the pillow, but I NEED IT!!! I do try to get a nap anytime that I can. (MIGHT AS WELL TRY TO SLEEP NOW....WON'T BE IN THE CASE IN THE NEXT FEW WEEKS!!!)
Best Moment This week: We bought a mini van!?!?!?!?! Never thought we would own a mini van, but we were test driving at the beginning of the week and I JUST FELL IN LOVE!!! Test drove many, many other automobiles but couldn't get away from the van.
Chrysler Town and Country -- IT HAS EVERYTHING, except a toilet and sink--Well, there might be a few other things, but I love everything it has to offer us.
Stow n' Go, Automatic Start, not 1 but 2 dvd players (so you can watch 2 different movies at the same time), cordless head phones and remote, built in shades for the back, adjustable petals (for us short people), touch screen for the radio/dvd/etc., automatic doors (you can also just pull the handle up and the sliding doors automatically open for you--AWESOME!!!), heated seats (not only for the driver and front passenger but also for the second row passengers!!!!), Mom eye (mirror to watch my backseats) as well as the Mom over-ride (buttons I can press to make sure people listen to me-I can mute the head phones or shut off the ability for the remote to work), AND SOOOO MUCH MORE!!!!
When we were done at the dealership Maceo said we were done purchasing things for the baby-because we have now spent enough..... ;)
Miss Anything: I miss my deli sandwiches that I could eat everyday, making them in the morning and eating them for lunch
Movement: YES, I am excited to meeting our little one when the time comes. She is going to keep our hands and legs going just to keep up with her! It is a continual bump and movements in the belly!! It is one of those things that no matter how you feel it just makes you smile.
Food Cravings: hot dogs (I don't know why but I just want hot dogs, brats, etc.) especially chili dogs, brownies and ice cream, and my other want is.....
Milk: (ONE OF THE BEST THINGS TO WANT IN THE THIRD TRIMESTER) I love milk anyways but a little secret when you drink soooo much milk or maybe if it isn't the taste for you--have your glass fill it most of the way with ice cubes pour in a couple table spoons of vanilla flavoring (Torani brand vanilla syrup) mix with straw and drink--IT IS THE BEST!!! **Special note with that, there will be more sugars with this mixture--they do have a sugar free syrup but I haven't tried it** This mixture will taste like the Vanilla Latte you can get from Starbucks but buying your milk and the vanilla syrup will cost less than going to Starbucks....
Anything Making You Queasy or Sick: No I feel great!!! I hate the weather lately, I am afraid of falling, I don't want to have to go to the doctor just because I fell. And I feel bad that Maceo is the only one that can scoop the drive.
Have You Started to Show: Yes!!! Maceo said that the clothes I wear you can't tell that I am pregnant from the front or back, BUT you can tell from the side.
Gender: Girl
Labor Signs: No, this is a good thing we want to keep cooking for a few more weeks!!
Symptoms: My belly bounces, I still have to pee constantly, I am tired, but It is wonderful!!
Bellybutton In/Out: Still in, but I did comment to Maceo that it looks as though we have possibly a little while before we have an outty.....
Wedding Rings On/Off: I am still wearing my wedding band, the engagement ring is safe in the safe (it is so safe Maceo is the only one who can get in the safe--LOL)
Happy or Moody Most of the Time: I am extremely happy!All of the time!! I haven't had any little moody times it is wonderful. And how could it not be? We're having a baby!!! The time is flying and I am just excited to play dress up when she is here!! Ruffly butts and bows!!!
Looking Forward To: Driving my van!! Going to our classes (we need to re-schedule the one that was supposed to be this week-we didn't make it due to weather)
Anything Else: Still looking into Daycare for baby. But we don't want to go broke for the care of our child. ALTHOUGH we would do anything for Baby, we just don't want to not have money to do other things.
Total Weight Gain/Loss: I don't know if anything has moved too much this week.
Maternity Clothes: Same as has been, I have the shirts and be band I can still wear my pants--(I did buy a skirt that weather I am pregnant or not I can wear it...sooo comfy)

Week of March 5-March 11
How Far Along Are You: 30 Weeks
Total Weight Gain/Loss: The scale is moving, but we will give official weigh in's weight additions with the doctors office scale. Which is next week if I am remembering correctly.
Maternity Clothes: I am still proud to report that I am still wearing pre-pregnancy pants (with the help of the belly be band). The weather needs to warm up because there is only so much room that I have left with my winter coat. And much of the time I am trying to suck in to get the coat zipped. But I know it will be warmer soon-I HOPE!! I have been filling out many of my maternity shirts (of course there is still room to grow)
Stretch Marks: Still none, I love, LOVE, LOVE, my lotions. I am continually lotioning up in the morning and at night (some days if I take an evening bath I will lotion one more time). I would like to nix or minimize any chance of any stretch marks for this body.
Sleep: I am noticing that I am getting uncomfortable just trying to stay on my left side. Even with pillows between my legs. My left arm can get uncomfortable being in the same position too. Moving is a little more difficult-AND SOMETIMES when I finally get COMFORTABLE then I have to PEE!!!!
Best Moment This week: We went to the first session of our "Expectant Parents Class" I will be honest there wasn't too much that we didn't know already. ALTHOUGH the instructor said NO, ABSOLUTLY NO BABY POWDER because of inhalation problems. That I guess was something we learned. We thought we were going to be the ones closest to the due date because of everyone telling us we should have gone to the classes by now. BUT I am here to report that EVERYONE else in our class were due in April. And WE were the only people due in May. It was nice to receive a book about Baby's First Year. I haven't read it completely but I have flipped through some of the pages it is packed full of good information.
Miss Anything: My normal appetite Sounds funny, but I feel as though I am just eating, eating, eating, and if I am not doing that I want too!
Movement: Yes lots of movement. It is cute to watch Maceo talk to her and she will kick and move. We did watch a youtube video where a couple was showing how you talk to a baby in womb and they were talking through the mother's mouth. They of course were doing it as a joke but then the woman's baby started to move. Maceo had come in to our room a couple of hours after I had gone to bed I thought he was going to give me a kiss, but he was trying to be funny and tried to talk to the baby the same way. I shut that down fast, possibly because I was so tired.
Food Cravings: Chocolate (must be Maceo's sweet tooth in our child, because she did not get that from me). Salads with chicken, or anything with chicken (I think that is Maceo's doing as well). Fruits and veggies (that sounds more like me). Chips with dip (I would have to say that is both my husband and I--Although the quantities that I can "put away" amaze even me)
Anything Making You Queasy or Sick: No I feel great! With the occasional tired sessions, but quickly can wake up from that especially if I am at work.
Have You Started to Show: YES!! And customers at my work will comment. I like it though. There was one day I had a jacket on and a scarf that I didn't think you could tell-This one woman asked when my baby was due. I looked at her with this blank look then with a smile said "her official due date is May 15th, but she is going to do what ever she wants to do" then I winked. She said "yes the tend to do that." I will admit the thought did cross my mind in saying "I'm not pregnant," but then I quickly decided I shouldn't joke with her especially since she doesn't know me.
Gender: Well, we are hoping that she is still a girl. We have a lot ready "Girl wise" in her room, clothes, etc. Plus after finding out we haven't really thought of anything Boy. But we are confident, because the lady that was doing the ultrasound has been doing this for 30+ years REALLY REALLY knows what she is doing.
Labor Signs: No, I am good with that. Labor signs can wait anywhere from 7-10 weeks....although if we start going more than that....I think I may have to take things into my own hands ;) Just kidding, kind of. I am very excited as well as Maceo to meet our little one. But we both want to make sure she is fully able to survive on her own with out special treatments.
Symptoms: I drink a lot of water, I pee a lot (it's like those two go hand in hand). I eat a lot. And sometimes I am not hungry one minute, like I feel completely stuffed, and the next I am starved. I definitely have the baby bump with baby movements inside. And for the TMI a little bit of constipation (which is fixed quickly by eating a pear or drinking some pear juice--something to note also works with little kids and adults).
Bellybutton In/Out: My belly button has been sneaking it's way closer and closer to being an outty....but alas it is still an inny. And I am guessing it will be another 2ish weeks before it decides to try to pop out.
Wedding Rings On/Off: I wear my wedding band comfortably, but like I said before we have had my engagement ring washed and it is in the safe.
Happy or Moody Most of the Time: Happy, ALL THE TIME-(well not when I am sleeping and Maceo is trying to be funny and opening my mouth to talk to the baby like the couple on youtube then I am a little confused and irritated because I was sleeping and I thought he was just going to give me a kiss)
Looking Forward To: We have 2 classes this week, the second half of the "Expectant Parent's Class" As well as the "Breastfeeding class" Which reminds me I need to reschedule the "Birthways Tour" that we missed from a previous week. And I need to find a doll for the "Breastfeeding Class". I wonder where I have put some of my dolls-Might need to check with Jody to see if she knows where any are.
Anything Else: Baby pool will be closed April 1!!! Put in your vote!!

We have had a great time seeing with people think. Hoping we can have more people place their votes.
OH, and I have started and am almost finished with her mobile. Total cost less than $10!! I just have to figure out how I am going to have the last ring attach to a smaller ring to have it hang from the ceiling.
We also have a "meet and greet" scheduled with a pediatrician for April!! I have a great feeling that everything is falling into place. I am very happy with how everything is turning out. I am just so thankful for those around me with the experience and the knowledge of places that we were contemplating seeing for daycares and pediatricians. And of course for any of the helpful tips that we have been receiving when it comes to baby.
I do need to continue to look at daycares. Putting this on here as a reminder for me. We would love a place that just doesn't "break the bank" if you know what I mean.
Week of March 12-March 18
How Far Along Are You: 31 Weeks
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Not too much I can tell you that.
Maternity Clothes: Buh buh buh baaaaaa!!! I am still wearing my normal pants....of course with the help with the be band.
Stretch Marks: Nope!!!
Sleep: I wish that I could take a nap around 4pm for about 20 minutes to 30 minutes. I would love that. I do although fall asleep really fast at night. Ususally with in seconds, yes seconds, after laying my head down on my pillow.
Best Moment This week: Had fun with 2 classes that we had scheduled for this week. The second half of the Expectant Parents class, and the Breastfeeding Class. Oh, and Baby A has a doll now. I had to get a doll, because I couldn't find any that I had when I was little to take to the breastfeeding class to practice after the instructor demonstrated the positions to hold your child as you breastfed. I also signed up for the Birthing class (Lamaze)...but Maceo is unable to make it with me to those classes, because he has a night class at the same time. It will still be good to go too.
Miss Anything: Not sure I really miss anything this week really.
Movement: Well, we are moving, moving, moving. I have been enjoying playing with her having her move with my hand movements.
Food Cravings: Salads, and fries!!
Anything Making You Queasy or Sick: I did have one day where I had MAJOR heart burn!!!!! I took some tums and I drank some water-Waited, the amount was apparently more water than I should have drank-BUT after I threw up. I felt 100x better. Other than that I feel great!!!
Have You Started to Show: Yes, I am showing. Best response to seeing me would come from my boss's youngest daughter "OH MY GOD YOU ARE HUGE!!!!" I didn't take offense I thought it was nice. I am so excited to have my baby bump and am all about showing it.
Gender: We are still a girl!
Labor Signs: No labor signs yet....like I have said before, we are thankful. She will continue to grow for some more weeks!
Symptoms: We have officially hit the "Charlie Horse" Stage, just in my left leg. I do get winded, and I find it hilarious when I am trying to look at somethings under a table and it is just weird and uncomfortable. I have a mover and shaker in my belly. I want to clean a lot (not too out of the normal for me but still). Of course we are still peeing plenty. My clothes are fitting differently.
Bellybutton In/Out: WE ARE STILL IN!!!!!!!! I might as well take a pool on when we are going to become outty....ha ha ha
Wedding Rings On/Off: My wedding ring is still in the safe. But I can still wear my wedding band.
Happy or Moody Most of the Time: Happy!! All the time, and I can't help but be happy.
Looking Forward To: We are scheduled to look at a daycare this next Monday and next Friday we have another Baby visit. I don't know if we get to see Miss Baby A or not. But I think after that appointment we go to every 2 weeks?
Anything Else: Because Miss Baby A loves her pop (Pepsi especially)--I decided when I was grocery shopping to try the 0 calorie, 0 sugar Soda ... Zevia. It's decent. I purchased the one that was similar to Dr. Pepper. Pretty darn close, you can tell the syrup isn't thick. But I keep seeing the Zevia Soda ads with any and all Pregnancy emails, magazines, etc. So I figured it was on sale--LET'S TRY IT!!
I would love to have a day of pampering!!! Nails, fingers and toes, to be done!! Massage, that is safe for me...etc.
Total Weight Gain/Loss: Not too much I can tell you that.

Week of March 19-March 25
How Far Along Are You: 32 Weeks
Total Weight Gain/Loss: We have gained 2 pounds...grand total so far 13 pounds :)
Maternity Clothes: Yes, shirts, I have a feeling once I get "too big" for my pants we will be resorting to my skirt that is very comfy, and my capri leggings.
Stretch Marks: None, THANK GOODNESS!!! I love my lotion. I may need to get another bottle-which is completely fine-WHATEVER WORKS!!
Sleep: I have been sleeping much better.
Best Moment This week: Besides Maceo coming home from a weekend trip in California. We had our doctor's appointment to check on Baby. Baby has dropped and sitting comfortably in my pelvic area. The way she is supposed to be with head bearing down.
Miss Anything: Sleeping on my stomach....Sometimes I would really like a glass of wine, but I can wait!
Movement: Oh YES! We have many jabs and movements with little girl. One of my favorite things to do is just watch my belly move in all the various directions when she is moving.
Food Cravings: CHOCOLATE!!! Especially brownies. I do fill that sweet tooth every Sunday by making a batch of brownies. We may have to make that a tradition.
Anything Making You Queasy or Sick: No
Have You Started to Show: Yes, can't you tell!!
Gender: Girl
Labor Signs: No
Symptoms: My ligaments are/were stretching!!! So major backpain at the beginning of the week. After our doctor's appointment I was fitted with a maternity belt. From what the "regulations" were I should have been a small (awe.... the making pregnant women feel like they aren't fat), but the small wasn't doing anything for me so they fitted me with the petite. YEAH!!! I am not fat!!!!! But I do think my backache was also due to overworking--since Maceo was going to be gone I was able to do more cleaning with out him around. I probably just did too much for my body to handle. I also have all the normal symptoms.
Bellybutton In/Out: In
Wedding Rings On/Off: Wedding band still on, although the day of our doctor's appointment it was a little snug, I think it was because I was BEYOND hot that day.
Happy or Moody Most of the Time: I am happy
Looking Forward To: Meeting our daughter. We have a doctor's appointment in 2 weeks, and will continue going to the doctor's office every 2 weeks after that for as long as they tell us.
Anything Else: I have an amazing husband-who will do anything for his pregnant wife. Even if she is not doing anything and he is in the middle of doing something he will go and get her that bowl of ice cream...or whatever else she is craving at the time. Thought I should brag that I have an amazing husband.
Oh, and the bebe pool is almost about to close! Get your vote in!

(This picture was taken Friday Night after we were running around. Tuesday of this week I wasn't feeling well, and our schedules never matched up enough to get the picture in-that or we would forget until we were already in bed--So before we went to bed this night we snapped a quick picture)
Week of March 26-April 1
How Far Along Are You: 33 Weeks
Total Weight Gain/Loss: I am sure there has been some...I can eat what normally fills me up, then 15 minutes later tell Maceo I am hungry again. Eat another meal or more then finally be full (or enough not to be tempted to eat anything)
Maternity Clothes: I still just have the shirts, and capris--But we did purchase a dress that I will be coming home from the hospital in. Baby A has a BEAUTIFUL dress that when Dad found he said "This is what our daughter will be coming home in!"
Stretch Marks: I have to admit, I did find ONE tiny one right under my belly. I guess it is a right of passage. But I am not sad about it. Just GLAD it is so tiny and there is only one!
Sleep: Oh goodness! Someone is extremely EXTREMELY active at night. I had fun putting my belly against Maceo's back to let him feel all the kicks. But I am getting some really good sleep when I can fall asleep. And normally wake up before my alarms go off......I will admit I do reset my alarms so I can sleep a little longer...because I can always get just a couple (or 15) more minutes in.
Best Moment This week: Easter with the family and being able to be around everyone. Easter fell on March 31st this year which is earlier than I remember it ever being. But March 31st of this year would be the 10 anniversary of losing my Grandfather to cancer. So it meant more to have the family together celebrating this year.
Miss Anything: Not having to pee every 5 minutes.
Movement: YES lots of movement--mid day and ESPECIALLY in the evening.
Food Cravings: Chocolate
Anything Making You Queasy or Sick: I don't know what it was, but Tuesday of this week I was so tired....I had slept all of Monday night, all of Tuesday day and Tuesday Night. Maybe I was trying not to come down with something. Then I went to drink some water the next morning. Threw that up (I think it was something- I don't know-when I was drinking it, everything tasted fine--when I was throwing up it tasted like dirty socks...????) Then I also tried a pear the day after that, "ap-pear-ntly" that didn't agree with my tummy at that time either?
Have You Started to Show: Oh yes! But it is funny how many people are just noticing. And when they ask how far along they are surprised I am not bigger.
Gender: Girl
Labor Signs: No, and we would like to keep it that way for a few more weeks.
Symptoms: I do tire easily. Shortness of breathe especially with stairs. I am nesting....more than my usual Janet cleaning. I pee more than before (which I didn't think was possible). Finding it hard to be comfortable in some positions.
Bellybutton In/Out: We are still IN!
Wedding Rings On/Off: Wedding band still on!
Happy or Moody Most of the Time: Happy!!!!!
Looking Forward To: The next few weeks to go by fast!!! Can't wait to meet our little one! I have some birthing classes to go to (Maceo won't be able to make it with me to these, because he has night classes). The classes will fill my next 3 Tuesday Nights. And We have an upcoming appointment this up-and-coming Friday.
Anything Else: The bebe pool is now locked as of April 1st. I hope everyone got their guesses in!! Good luck to all!!
I went to a "meet and greet" with a pediatritian. LOVE HER!!!

Week of April 2-April 8
How Far Along Are You: 34 Weeks
Total Weight Gain/Loss: OH MY-- we have gained a grand total of 20 pounds!!! YIKES!!! But it's all good.
Maternity Clothes: Yes, shirts, not maternity pants (I don't know I just figure we are so close to being done why bother) There are so many people still shocked with the fact that we are due next month and apparently I am not showing as much as they did??
Stretch Marks: Just the one tiny one.
Sleep: AMAZING!! Yes, I have been having some crazy dreams-BUT I am sleeping SO WONDERFULLY!!! One night this week I slept from 6 pm to 7:30am-My husband is amazing for letting me do that!
Best Moment This week: We had our doctor's appointment. AND there was a children's consignment shop that happens 2 times a year in Ankeny--WE GOT SOME GREAT STUFF!!!
Miss Anything: Can't think of too much, besides not getting winded when walking one time around the dog park.
Movement: YES!!! We are moving!!!!
Food Cravings: nothing this week
Anything Making You Queasy or Sick: Nope
Have You Started to Show: OBVIOUSLY!!
Gender: Girl
Labor Signs: Nope, we're just excited for whenever she decides to come
Symptoms: Regular things, pee a lot, belly moving a lot, etc.
Bellybutton In/Out: STILL IN!!!!!
Wedding Rings On/Off: We still only have one ring on the wedding band, but it is starting to get a little tight, so I am unsure how much longer it will be on

Total Weight Gain/Loss: I am sure we are gaining some weight, next Friday we have an appointment so we will wait to see!
Maternity Clothes: Still have just shirts, and while I was in the tri-clean (me feeling like me, spring cleaning and nesting) I asked Maceo to grab somethings from the top of our closet....and found some clothes I had put away because I had lost weight last year...now I have more options for clothing still regular clothes but it works!!
Stretch Marks: I have the one little stretch mark under my belly, I can't see it with out a mirror....and we have a smidge little dots off to the side

Also, I received a text message from my mother... "So did the Dr. say there will be a baby for my birthday????" I think someone is very excited to be a Grandma! And I am glad--I did have to tell her that we didn't have a doctors appointment and that we would both have to wait and see.. :)
Miss Anything: Coffee-apparently this week....It was almost as if EVERYONE around me had some coffee and it smelled heavenly. I know it wouldn't hurt but I still know that I have been "cheating" with other things--I shouldn't cheat with everything

Today we are 30 days away from our due date!!!!!
Week of April 16-April 22
How Far Along Are You: 36 WeeksTotal Weight Gain/Loss: Gained 2 pounds! We are now getting to the....ok, now I am good with the weight gain now we can stop phase ;) But whatever it takes to make a healthy little girl we will do!
Maternity Clothes: I am proudly staying with my normal pants! Haven't cracked to the maternity pants...I can still do some regular shirts but I do prefer my maternity shirts....OH, and I STILL LOVE MY BE BAND
Stretch Marks: No new ones just the dang tiny spots and the one little one under my belly. I will gladly take those over some of the full belly marks.
Sleep: Oh, I would love to sleep all the time. I wish I could come to work at noon everyday. I think if I was able to sleep from 8 pm until about 10:30 am it would be wonderful. I am sleeping hard and it is great! I do have crazy dreams though.
Best Moment This week: We had our regular doctor appointment, after finally getting into the room and waiting on the doctor for what seemed like forever!!! It was an hour and a half wait just to get to the doctor. She was busy, and I am fine with that, because some day I may be the one causing everyone waiting to wait longer. We had our check and then were able to see Baby A by ultra sound (although) the doctor was just checking to make sure she was still in correct positions so it was fast and not anything that was detailed like the ultrasound tech would do, and we didn't get any pictures....it was fine. Her heartbeat was strong. And we both are running out of room. And the doctor confirmed my gut feeling of Baby A will more than likely come late. She is definitely going to be a May Baby! More like a later May baby.....but hopefully not by much!
Miss Anything: I would love a glass....or bottle of wine-LOVE to have that right now.
Movement: Yes, lovely kicks that I like to remind our baby girl she doesn't have to hurt Mommy.

Wedding Rings On/Off: Just wearing my wedding band....
Happy or Moody Most of the Time: Happy!! Although Maceo says I have a slightly shorter temper.
Looking Forward To: The next few weeks to go by fast!
Anything Else: I have had amazing luck with shopping for Baby A. I am planning on breastfeeding and using formula both because I want her to no matter what have something to "eat". I had a coupon for $14.95 off of a formula--So I was able to purchase a formula can for $1.04!!! Also, we will be getting diapers for pennies because I have a $10 off coupon and a $20 Gift Card from a previous purchase! Ha ha ha ha!! I love shopping!
We have the hospital bag completely finished, I was looking for baby emery boards-took care of that this weekend. I haven't yet put it in the van, although I almost did. But decided maybe next week I will tote it out.
We also, now have Baby A's room with only her things (and a little of Charlie's), and not extra storage....for Mom's junk. Ha Ha. And we did place the base of our Chicco car seat in the van on the seat and strapped it in. I am going to schedule a time to have the police double check that we did it correctly and so we can make sure our Baby Girl is extra safe! I do although still need to clean the extra car seat and base that we have and place it in her closet.
