It's no secret. We are a crazy family. Once everything starts to fall into place and get easier we have to do something to the mix!
It was just a regular Saturday, we slept in, did some errands, ate out for lunch at HyVee, then we went to the ARL to look at the animals.
We looked at all the cats. Deakin was extremely excited to see them "Kitty!" "Kitty!!" He sceamed at the cats through the glass. We then went past the desk to see the dogs. There weren't as many as normally. Deakin was done with the dogs-he wanted to go see the kitties.
There were some absolutely beautiful Siamese cats. They were a pair. Then there were kittens and so many beautiful cats to took at.
Maceo and I decided, why not....let's see how the kids would react to a cat.so we pointed at the closest cat and took him to the hug room. His name was Felix. In the hug room-he walked around, and Deakin was screaming "Kitty" in his face and ever lovingly heavily petting him.
Do you know what happened then?
Nothing!!!!!!!!!!
The cat let the kids pet and scream. The cat did not care. The cat just let them do their thing. He was so sweet. And my husband and I- truthfully we fully expected to have the hug room not work. How could we not bring this cat home? We asked for the paperwork and started the adoption process!
