Pulling oil

Tonight, I tried oil pulling.  What is oil pulling? you are wondering.... Well, it is a table spoon of cocoa nut oil that you put in your mouth...let it melt down (I had to " chew" to melt it down...then you swish it around for 15-20 minutes.  I decided my first time I would go 15 minutes to see what it was like. And, you know what? I loved it! It is supposed to clean your teeth, give you whiter teeth, pinker gums, fresher breath...etc. I feel like my teeth are so clean!! I am excited for the morning to try this again.

I have now been oil pulling for a week now.  My thoughts....
I love it, it is nice to be able to pull as I am getting ready, with that it takes a long time...if you have ever swooshed mouth wash in your mouth....about 5 mins and you are tired of it.  But also, on the few times where I was running too late or just too tired to oil pull obviously I brushed my teeth, but they just didn't feel clean, and my breath not as fresh.  I think I will keep up oil pulling as often as I can.

How time flies.... 8 months already!

Isla has been a very busy girl, in the last 8 months! She is doing so much .... it is just  crazy! She definately keeps us on our toes.  She is more than mobile..a fast crawler...and I do mean fast!!  (Will continue....)

Isla's First Christmas

Wow, time goes so fast! We celebrated Christmas for 5 days in a row. Saturday December 21 thru Wednesday December 25. Needless to say we had a great time...and also glad when we could enjoy our "normal" routine again.

Isla had a wonderful First Christmas! I would almost go with spoiled. But, only in the best way. She had a wonderful time with family and friends.

Dad even purchased earrings, with her birth stone, for Isla from Mom's favorite jewelry store (Jareds). Dad also bought Mom a necklace with Isla's birth stone too!
