Well, the family can't say I never shared....

My poor little family.  I definitely shared my cold with them.

Maceo had the stuffy ears, nose, runny nose, and somewhat scratchy throat.  He is lucky he can take whatever he wants to get his symptoms to go away.   I just try to get him to relax and take it easy so he can get better.  We don't want it hanging on to him.

And Isla, is still working on a extreme cough that usually ends with throwing up the gunk, I guess I should be glad that she's getting it out.  I just feel bad, because there isn't much we can do for her.  We sit in the steamy bathroom for 20-40 minutes to hopefully "break-down" the gunk.

I can give her Acetaminophen, but I don't want to do that all the time.  I have tried vicks-vapor rub on her feet then put socks on.  We have her propped with her boppy as she sleeps (which with this cough is currently in her pack-n-play next to our bed.  I have a cool mist machine going as we sleep.  I can take her temperature all I want, sometimes she feels really warm, but the highest it goes when I do that is 97 something.  I enjoy suckering out her nose.  And boy does she need it a lot of the time.

I wish I could find the vicks-vapor rub for Maceo and I.  We have I swear 3-4 bottles.  I just can't find them.  I know they are probably somewhere really "easy to get too" I just can't find where that is?!?!?!

We (well, me) have had many nights of little to no sleep.  Which is probably why I still have a lingering cough.    I do catch my best sleep with her on my chest as we are sitting in the rocking chair in her room.  She for whatever reason doesn't have the rumbling in her chest and doesn't cough too much.  We get a good 1-3 hours doing that.  Most of the time it is closer to 1, but every now and than I get 3.

We have been going thru pj's like crazy. Last night alone we went thru 4.  Two of them as bedtime began.  The spit up is sad.  I know she doesn't enjoy it....I know I don't.

Hopefully this is the last few days of this for them.  We will just try to keep them as comfortable as possible.
